If you’re a gym member, then you know this is the time of year it’s packed with new faces. Determined to meet their get-in-shape New Year’s goal, newbies swarm the cardio and weight machines while you patiently wait your turn.

And wait you will…at least until January 17, which research tells us is unofficially known as “Ditch New Year’s Resolutions Day.”

What do all these quasi-fitness folks have in common? They’re relying on old ways of thinking to get results. January 1 doesn’t magically turn you into a goal-crushing maniac, however. Just because it’s a new year doesn’t mean those fires burn all year long.

The same old ways of thinking and hoping for change in a new year also apply to hiring. As we now know from Dental Post’s newly released Annual Salary Survey, staffing is going to be an issue in 2023.

Dentists cannot rely on the old way of searching for talent. Posting tired old job descriptions on job boards and local or national sites won’t result in A-player talent wanting to come and work for your practice.

You need a better approach.

If you’re familiar with our blog, we often talk about upgrading your patient attraction system. But what if we applied that process to attracting better talent?

Sure, competition is fierce, but if you have the right tools to attract the best players, you’ll be well on your way to a successful year with a dynamite team.

We have an answer to the labor shortage problem that’s not going away – at least anytime soon. In our newest report, Staffing Up Made Simple, you’re walked through a number of actions you can take to “staff up” in the new year that don't require motivation and wishful thinking.

While you may need to be a bit more patient for your turn on the treadmill, you don’t have to wait to build that dream team for your practice. Grab your complimentary report while it’s still available.
