The signs are everywhere – in storefront windows, on blinking signs along the road, on countless job boards and job-hunting websites.

So where is everyone? 

It’s tough out there, and according to our SmartBox fall survey, dentists are struggling to find staff and keep the employees they have happy. Many (nearly 50%) of you have given raises, added bonuses to end-of-year budgets, offered CE, and so on. But the crunch is still present. You’re tired, stressed out, and can’t compete with remote jobs that pay the same or more. 

Until things shift, and they will at some point down the road, how are you going to manage? Can you really keep going at your pace? Is your staff willing to be run ragged trying to keep up? Or are you starting to see cracks in their energy and your schedule? What a crummy combination to have to deal with.
